The National Park Service
manages all the beaches in Hatteras Village where you will find one of
the finest places in the country to enjoy all kinds of water sports and
activities. Miles of non commercialized, uninterrupted golden
sand beach and emerald colored water are open to the public year round
unless otherwise posted. They can be reached through public
access areas.

The sky is the limit
when it comes to beach activities. World class surfing and many
of its variations are enjoyed here. The ocean is a great place to
swim or just float away a lazy day. Hiking , shelling and
building sand castles are favorite past times along with just hanging
out.
